She has worked in a local Internal Medicine practice, and also in home health nursing. She is a very caring nurse and has a genuine desire to see her patients learn and do well while living day to day with diabetes.
Tania Earley, R.D., L.D., C.D.E., has been working in the field of diabetes for over 8 years, and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator for over 5 years. She has not only worked extensively in the area of diabetes, but she also has the unique ability to bring "living with diabetes" to the plate. Tania was diagnosed as a teenager with type 1 diabetes, and today she wears an insulin pump. She is able to relate to those who live with diabetes day in and day out.
Julie Hayes, R.N., is the newest member of the Diabetes Treatment Team at Palmyra Medical Centers. She has a nursing career that spans over 26 years. Her experience includes areas such as Critical Care, Post-Partum/Nursery, Post-Anesthesia care and the Pre-op Holding area in the Operating Room. This is a whole new field of nursing for her and promises to be both challenging and changing. She is excited about helping patients better understand diabetes. With so many people being diagnosed with this disease, Julie feels strongly that education and research must be a top priority so that one day soon, we will see a cure.
